The Okanagan Nation Alliance is seeking Secondary or Post Secondary Summer Student applicants to work as part of the Okanagan Nation Natural Resource Land Use Team to assist with various research and library projects for our Organization.
TO BE ELIGIBLE: This is a Young Canada Works 2010 Summer Student funded program. Applicants must be full-time students, during the preceding academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis and be between the ages of 16 – 30 years of age.

Start Date: June 21, 2010 End Date: August 27, 2010
Wage: $12.00 per hour for a 37.5 hour work week (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

This Request for Qualifications is for contract opportunities for fieldwork in the following areas:

 Archaeological Field Work technician
 Wildlife technician
 Vegetation technician

The Okanagan Nation Alliance Natural Resource Land Use Team is seeking professionals with appropriate qualifications and experience to provide Archaeological services to the ONA.

This Request for Qualifications is for contract opportunities to:

• Review Archaeological Overview Assessments and provide written comments and recommendations
• Review Archaeological Impact Assessments and provide written comments and recommendations
• Propose and conduct Archaeological Overview Assessments within the Okanagan territory
• Propose and conduct Archaeological Impact Assessments within the Okanagan territory
