MISSION STATEMENT

“Under the direction of the Chiefs Executive Council, the ONA staff team’s function is to serve the people of the Nation by fostering and supporting collective goals and actions that serve everyone.”

CHARTER

We will foster a professional work environment: By demonstrating success through our attire, organized work space, punctuality and by ensuring a safe & secure functional work environment, cooperative work atmosphere, consistent with national codes & standards.

We will promote accountability:

By providing: an organizational chart, clear job descriptions, performance measures, a system of professional development, support & certification where appropriate.

We will encourage consistent messaging:

Through positive, clear & inclusive communication that engages active listening and constructive criticism. By mediating conflict and providing resolution; encouraging networking; team work

We will demonstrate respect:

Through positive reinforcement, appreciation and treating others as you wish to be treated

By being accessible, flexible and willing to help & support others and contribute actively to the integration of programs through collaboration and information sharing.
