Spotted Lake was returned to the Okanagan Nation
in 2001.

“Ha? Ki lil xw” - Nsyilxcen name for Spotted Lake.

The Okanagan River is the largest of three remaining sockeye runs in the Columbia Basin.

There are more children
in care now then there were at the height of residential schools.

Okanagan oral history passed from one generation to another is called Captikwl.

The Okanagan Nation is comprised of 8 Member Communities.
