Skirt Making: with Billie Kruger and Dina Brown

Share

Throughout the BRIDGES journey youth have expressed a wish to learn how to create.  This includes a broad spectrum of specific experiences to learn how to feed, clothe, shelter, and heal themselves, their families, and their community.  Skirts are an important aspect to leading a good Syilx life and can be individual artistic expression. This skirt making workshop is one step in this journey – OKIB Youth Mentor Dina Brown will be leading this workshop supported by BRIDGES mentor and artist Billie Kruger, teaching youth how to sew a skirt.
